I love dressing our boys in colorful clothes, and luckily they love it too! It’s always fun to put together outfits– sometimes they do twinning looks, and other times they go for matching styles in different hues.
I like to put together a Canva board to prepare for new seasons with all the clothes we already own that still fit. This helps me figure out what else we might need.
I did something similar for our trip to Germany: I created a digital lookbook of their outfits to get a clear picture of what we were packing and what essentials might be missing. Here’s the board!

What I Packed The Boys
I’ve linked everything from the trip board below, featuring finds from Oso & Me, Hanna Andersson, Boden and the small (Canadian!) business Pigeon Said Please. And yes, I absolutely own the Butter tee in my size, so you can totally join the fun!
Shorts
I pretty much only packed Oso & Me shorts for this trip because they are JUST SO CUTE. The pockets have contrasting piping and the shorts themselves are, well, pretty short. But in the most perfect way!
I popped into J. Crew Factory outlet before leaving town and picked up two more pairs of shorts for the boys before leaving. They are great quality and colors– plus on major sale right now.
Tops
Jackets / Sweatshirts
Socks & Shoes
Other Fun Pieces
Accessories truly complete an outfit! My boys wear hats daily, occasionally sunglasses, and for this trip, they’ve even got a ‘bumm bag’ to stash their Euros.
Here are the kid accessories I packed for this trip:
Airplane Outfits
One final category– what the boys wore on the overnight flight. The boys loved their outfits (and they worked great for sleeping on a plane!)

Joggers: Oso & Me in Basil — these joggers & the sweatshirt are made of the same soft material that Oso & Me shirts are. Our kids are obsessed!
Sweatshirt: Oso & Me in Dusty Blue — we kept these in a carry on and pulled them out during the flight
Light blue tee: Boden— I was worried the boys would get hot on the plane, so I went with a lighter shirt from Boden. These are on the thinner side and are a great light layer.
Suitcase: Away — Ok, I know. It’s expensive. But! BUT! I can’t explain to you the level of quality, the cuteness factor of it in person and the absolute ease of traveling with it through a crowded airport. It glided effortlessly, and it was easy for me to take 2 bags together when a kid needed a break.
Patagonia backpack: I don’t see it available anymore but it’s called the Kid Refugito backpack
