Permission to be a silly goose
Hi! I'm Elizabeth. That's me, right there with the flowers!
I spent the last five years transforming our home into a space that makes me happy every single time I walk through the door-- colorful, collected, and a little unexpected. It started with a lot of blank walls and absolutely no idea what I was doing.
Somewhere along the way I realized there was a whole flock of people in the same spot. So I built what I wish had existed back when I was the one staring at blank walls.
It's a membership full of room-by-room guidance, behind-the-scenes decision making, and real examples from our home-- for anyone who's ready to decorate like a silly goose.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the membership for?
The Silly Goose Society membership is for anyone who wants a colorful, joyful home and isn't quite sure how to get there yet. You don't need design experience, a big budget, or a perfectly blank slate to start. You just need to want it.
You'll love it here if:
- You've been pinning colorful rooms for years but can't figure out how to pull it off in your own space.
- You love the idea of a home with personality but worry it will look chaotic or childish.
- You're ready to add color but have no idea where to start. You've started decorating and hit a wall-- something feels off but you can't put your finger on what.
This is not for people who want a perfectly staged, catalog-perfect home. It's for people who want their home to feel like them -- collected, colorful, a little bit joyful, and very much theirs.
Why silly goose?
Because a silly goose decorates for themselves. Not for an imaginary guest, not for a magazine, not because it's what adults are supposed to do.
A silly goose buys the cement banana because it makes them happy and figures out where it goes later. A silly goose paints the trim their favorite color. A silly goose trusts their own taste even when nobody else is doing it yet. If that sounds like you-- or like the person you want to be-- you're in the right place.
What if I'm not ready to use a lot of color?
That's completely fine! This approach works with just a few pops of color in the right places. Start small, see how it feels, and let it grow at whatever pace feels right. Nobody is going to show up and check how colorful your house is.
Is this expensive?
It doesn't need to be! I mix thrifted finds, DIY projects, and budget-friendly pieces with a few well-chosen splurges. It's about being intentional, not spending a lot.
As for the membership, my #1 goal when creating it was to keep it affordable. I created what I wish existed when I wanted to add color to my house a few years ago-- and I priced it for what I would have been willing to pay.
