Welcome to our newly refreshed living room! As a home with true “living room kids,” the priority was creating a space that is cozy and functional for the whole family.

My favorite change? That back bookshelf. It’s no longer just a holder for old reads; it’s now a spot that features all of our favorite books, as well as games and puzzles. It’s truly a great spot for all of us.

If you’ve been eyeing any of the furniture, decor, or textiles, this post is for you! I’ve gathered all the sources in one convenient spot.

Living Room Sources

Rug: This floral rug is new and it’s perfect in the space! I wanted to make sure it was colorful but didn’t stand out too much and that it was soft because we spend a lot of time with the kids in this room.

Scallop Coffee Table: Go price shopping for this one! You can find it here and here. It’s really pretty and arrived assembled via FedEx– we purchased the first one linked but I think two are exactly the same.

Couch: We purchased our couch in 2013!! It’s by Rowe and is called a Cindy sectional.

Scallop Tray: This one is similar and by the same company, but it looks a bit smaller than ours.

Chairs: found these in an antique shop! Wish they I had a better source because I love them!!! When I found them I asked my designer friend if I should get them even if I didn’t have a spot for them– she gave the best advice, which was to get them because chairs are easy to move around (vs something like a dresser or a couch.)

TV Frame: this was a DIY project! Here’s our tutorial for a DIY wavy TV frame.

Stripe Pillows: They are by Muse Textiles, which is one of my favorite makers! Her prints are so colorful and vibrant. She doesn’t have stripes available anymore but has a ton of other patterns.

Other patterned pillows: All of the other pillows are from Belle’s Mill Shop on Etsy! We have these blush floral pillows but I don’t see our other patterns right now. I really love these green and blue block print pillows, though.

Green Lamp Shade: Anthropologie

Lamp Base: This is actually just a random base I had on hand that I painted Farrow & Ball Oval Room Blue. I love getting their small sample cans and adding touches of color around the house.

Yellow Match Holder: Tenn Prairie

Throw Blanket: I purchased this locally at Clad (love this store!), but it’s not in stock there anymore. This is another colorful blanket option available at Clad.

Oval Flower Art: A vintage find! :/

Striped Picture Frame: It’s the Whitney Frame from Anthropologie, but I don’t see it in stock anymore. This frame is a cute option, though, and is available in several different colors.

Candle: The Casa Polanco scent from ROEN candle smells so good!

Paint Colors

Brick wall: Oval Room Blue

Trim: Card Room Green

Walls: Off White

TV Frame Color: Romesco

Art

Several pieces were found at vintage shops and on Etsy so I can’t link the exact ones. I love looking for vintage crewel embroidery pieces on Etsy, though. You never know what you’ll find!

Tiny pickle art by my pal Whistle Pig Art. Send her a message on Instagram to get details on all of the great pieces she has! She’s also happy to do custom pieces.

Flower print (it’s by Prints By Ka– I love her pieces!). The frame is painted in Fruit Fool.

Check Etsy for crewel embroidered pieces for something similar to the oval pieces. I see ones like that all of the time on there!

    • Hi there! It’s super old but I think they still make it! It’s a Rowe couch– the Cindy sectional. We purchased it at a local furniture shop that carries Rowe Furniture but you may be able to find it online. Unfortunately, I don’t know the material or color name that we chose.
